We are a team dedicated to providing quality dental care to people who find it difficult getting out of their homes  or who simply want the convenience of a home dental service -the elderly, disabled and people who are housebound - using portable dental equipment.

We also provide on-site dental care to residents of nursing homes, hospitals, care facilities, etc., on a private basis. We offer:

Check-ups:
Comprehensive check-ups with radiographs and imaging systems. Oral cancer screening is carried out as part of the examination.

Scale and Polish:
Most elderly people need professional cleaning to augment their own efforts. We can provide regular scaling and polishing. We can also provide a denture cleaning service.

Fillings:
With our portable delivery system, we are able to provide aesthetically pleasing fillings for both anterior and posterior teeth. We do not use dental amalgams.

Tooth extraction:
Most extractions can be done on site. However, if your medical history and complexity of the treatment requires that it should be carried out in a hospital setting, we will arrange appropriate referral promptly.

Denture fabrication:
We provide different types of dentures (full dentures, partial dentures, cobalt chrome dentures and flexible dentures.) We label, repair and reline dentures too.

Preventive treatment:
Fluoride treatments and advice on making a dry mouth more comfortable.

We also deliver oral healthcare training and education to care staff looking after vulnerable patients so that they can provide the appropriate care and support.

Care Show Bournemeouth 2012

A statement of national minimum standards published by the Secretary of State for Health under section 23(1) of the Care Standards Act 2000. March 2001

STANDARD 8

8.1 The registered person promotes and maintains service users’ health and ensures access to health care services to meet assessed needs.

8.2 Care staff maintain the personal and oral hygiene of each service user and, wherever possible, support the service user’s own capacity for self-care.

Care Homes Regulations 2001

Further requirements as to health and welfare 13.-(1) The registered person shall make arrangements for service users-

(a) to be registered with a general practitioner of their choice; and...

(b) to receive where necessary, treatment, advice and other services from any health care professional
